Ivanhoe Cambridge sought the expertise of iGotcha Media to design an interactive wayfinding solution for Mille de La Gauchetière, famously known as Montreal’s tallest building.
The digital solution was required to help the flow of information in the building by displaying tenant information, providing users with virtual maps and identifying key places on the property. Visitors needed to be able to consult this interactive wayfinding kiosk in an intuitive manner and seamlessly navigate this massive building.
In order to improve the visitor experience, iGotcha Media designed a complex and interactive digital signage system complemented by a custom-made wayfinding software.
The interactive wayfinding solution was made up of 42” multi-touch screens installed in portrait mode kiosks and double-sided kiosks. The single-sided kiosks were implemented in key places in the building including the Mezzanine and in front of the highly popular skating rink. In order to accommodate a large incoming of guests in this popular area, the double-sided digital kiosk was installed in the main entrance.
Our team designed the interactive digital signage kiosks to be compliant with Quebec’s accessibility norms to ensure that people with disabilities enjoy a seamless visit.
Our skilled development and content team partnered up to make Ivanhoe Cambridge’s vision for these sign systems come to life. The iGotcha team designed custom maps and implemented them into an easy-to-use wayfinding and directory software to effortlessly guide users to their destination. Our touchscreen kiosks also operate as a digital directory boards, providing visitors with quick access to tenant information.
Rather than re-print paper maps, our content management software enables property-owners to update their directory information remotely and in real-time. This feature ensures that visitors always have access to current information.
iGotcha Media’s wayfinding and directory solutions facilitated property management and improved customer experience as they navigated Ivanhoe Cambridge’s property. Users enjoy a frictionless visit as they can find their way around the building using an interactive wayfinding features.
