Birks commissioned iGotcha Media to design a captivating digital signage concept for the opening of their flagship Canadian stores located in Phillips Square in Montreal, on Bloor Street and in First Canadian Place in Toronto.
For the reopening of their Montreal store, Birks wanted to preserve the historical aspects of the space they have been occupying since 1894, such as its rustic doors and extravagant pillars. iGotcha Media’s project management and installation team had to highlight its charming architectural details all while adding contemporary technological elements.
The installations needed to engage shoppers and amplify the beauty of Birks’ branding and content. The digital displays were deployed in order to embellish the space, ameliorate the shopping experience and draw customers into the shop.
For Birks’ Montreal store, iGotcha Media’s team collaborated with experts from Aedifica in order to preserve the building’s history and strategically integrate digital solutions into this retail environment.
88-inch displays with tailor-made enclosures were deployed in this retail store and perfectly complemented the 19th century building’s aesthetics. This installation enabled Birks’ to build deeper emotional connections with customers by making their branding come to life on vibrant video walls.
In Birks’ Toronto store on Bloor Street, a 9.5-foot-tall corner LED display showcases Birks’ eye-catching video campaigns across two walls. The corner design of the installation allows for a creative display of content which evenly flows on both walls. This original installation shows off the beauty of the products and enhances the store’s décor. Visible from outside of the boutique, the LED video wall appeals to shoppers and passersby alike.
Digital signs were also installed in the heart of Toronto’s financial district in Birks at First Canadian Place. In this Toronto location, an impressive 12.5-foot by 7-foot screen was deployed at the entrance of the shop to promote Birks’ elegant campaigns and products. The mall’s high ceilings enable this screen to be seen from the first and second floor attracting shoppers from all directions.
iGotcha Signage, our proprietary CMS provides Birks with the utmost flexibility and freedom to schedule, modify and deploy content remotely and in real-time. Our turnkey digital signage solution created an immersive customer experience in Birks’ stores.
