Congratulations Esabella A.K Strickland
iGotcha Media is proud to announce the winner of our Digital Excellence Scholarship 2023. This scholarship is awarded to a Canadian or American student each year to support the next generation of digital innovators. Our recipient of the Digital Excellence Scholarship is Esabella A.K Strickland.
“Esabella was one of the eight highly impressive finalists this year,” says Greg Adelstein, President of iGotcha Media. “She demonstrated her interest in innovative digital approaches and visionary boundary-breaking to create new digital experiences that people can relate to.”
Esabella’s interest in digital media stems from her motivation to raise awareness about neurodivergence. As a 17-year-old neurodivergent individual, she sees dynamic display technology as a unique opportunity to give individuals a voice and share their life experiences. According to Esabella, the future lies in disseminating short capsules highlighting life experiences, much like what the TikTok social network offers. Currently pursuing a classical animation course at Vancouver Film School and a member of Women in Animation (WIA), she aims to bring this innovative vision to fruition.
“Congratulations once again to Esabella and our other finalists for this wonderful achievement,” declares Adelstein. “We wish them all the best in their educational pursuits, both now and in the future.”
